We see homelessness as a symptom of the breakdown of community. Rather than solving people as if they were problem, we build community through sports as a foundation for positive change and innovation in services.

Through a commitment to research, evaluation, and excellence, Street Soccer USA seeks to position itself as both the knowledge-based leader and the lead practitioner in the field of sport for development.

While SSUSA currently provides a network of street soccer programs in 16 cities nationwide, there is still a demand for more programming across the country. It is expected that the number of cities participating will continue to increase with each year. In addition, SSUSA is beginning to take steps to pursue a women’s initiative in an effort to get more female participants involved in the street soccer program.
