For us, Social Change is about creating a new context, a family, a community to be accountable to around our players. Social change means including the excluded and creating a reality we can all feel part of and feel proud of.
We are so proud that 75% of our homeless participants do connect to jobs, education, and housing within a year of joining our team.

The sport for Social Change Awards honors member of our community who have used sports to enrich all of our lives--Sheila Johnson, Fernando Murias, Zach Leonsis, and SSUSA's Chris Lodgeson. Come honor them on May 20th, meet great people, meet our players, enjoy food, and have fun. Ending homelessness is a team sport and we want you on our team. Proceeds from the event will go directly to fund our National Cup in Washington, DC. It is the linchpin of our program, and a touchstone of pride and progress for teens and adults who have struggled against the odds to contribute to society.
