About the Program
After witnessing his long-time friend start a Street Soccer USA program in Dallas, program founder, Brian Majka, was inspired to start a program in Tulsa. In the summer of 2011, non-profit youth service provider, Youth Services of Tulsa, partnered with Street Soccer USA to found Street Soccer Tulsa.
Youth Services of Tulsa educates and builds new skills for youth and families by offering couseling programs, Art Studios, health education and support groups. The program also provides basic needs to young people by offering shelter, food, hygiene itens, and other basic necessities. Since the program's inception in 1969, Youth Services of Tulsa has positively impacted more than 300,000 youth and thier families.

While the Street Soccer Tulsa team may be young, they are also enthusiastic! Very strong relationships have been formed with the team players and coaches. Practices consistenly have 5-8 players each week. Coaches are proud of thier team members for thier dedication to the program and for the huge improvements they are seeing from their players, both on and off the field.
Street Soccer Tulsa currently pracitces at Veteran's Park in Tulsa on Friday afternoons and is actively searching for an indoor practice facilitiy to train in during the cold winters. The team will participate in a recreational league in January of 2012 and is exited to particiate in thier first Street Soccet USA Cup in 2012!
