| Over the last year Street Soccer Philadelphia has partnered with Feliz Filadelfia, a baseball organization, to expand into soccer and into more communties. The Street Soccer Felix Filadelfia soccer club has already enrolled and reatined 240 members and is poised for growth. One outgrowth of this partnership was the connection made by FF’s Dan Gordon to the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Services Center. Many of the youth that will leave their facility will return to neighborhoods where we work. Street Soccr Philadelphia hopes to make an impact through offering curriculum based programs onsite and creating a potential linkage for youth when they leave, Street Soccer Philadelphia. Since the August kickoff the program has proven to extremely popular and we are excited to measure the long term impact. |
