The Central Park FIFA Arena Field is a free, small-sided pitch open to every New Yorker. It’s built to do what soccer does best — bring neighbors together, give kids somewhere to belong, and turn a patch of the park into common ground.
More than a place to play, it’s a platform for the city’s communities.
Throughout the World Cup the field hosts open play, youth programming, community leagues, and marquee events with partners across the city and the sport. Whether you’re lacing up for the first time or chasing your next match, there’s a place for you here.

This session brings together coaches to explore how we get more girls into the game, keep them in the game, and support them through it.
Heat Safety Guidelines
At Street Soccer USA, the health and safety of all participants, families, coaches, staff, and visitors is our top priority. During periods of hot weather, we closely monitor weather conditions and the heat index. Activities may be adjusted to help everyone stay safe while enjoying the FIFA Arena.
How You Can Help Stay Safe Please help prevent heat-related illness by following these simple precautions:
● Bring a full water bottle and drink water before, during, and after activities.
● Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and appropriate athletic footwear.
● Apply sunscreen before arriving and reapply as needed.
● Wear a hat and sunglasses whenever possible.
● Eat a healthy meal or snack before participating.
● Take breaks in the shade when needed.
● Tell a coach or staff member immediately if you begin to feel unwell.
Know the Signs of Heat Illness
Stop participating and notify a coach or staff member right away if you or your child experiences:

For Parents & Guardians
Please keep your child home if they are feeling ill or recovering from a recent illness, as this can increase the risk of heat-related illness. Make sure your child arrives well hydrated and with a filled water bottle.
During Extreme Heat
When temperatures or the heat index reach unsafe levels, Street Soccer USA may:
● Modify activities and reduce high-intensity exercise.
● Increase the frequency and length of water and shade breaks.
● Shorten session times.
● Delay, reschedule, or cancel programming if conditions are determined to be unsafe.

Two sessions daily — Session 1: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and Session 2: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Open to all unless noted in the schedule. Free.
