The Street Soccer USA National Cup 2015 was held in Civic Center Plaza in downtown San Francisco, California. Uniqlo USA was again the official apparel sponsor. The San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department were primary sponsors with Classy, Zendesk, NorCal Premier Foundation, and Recurrent Energy as supporting sponsors.
The tournament featured our Street Soccer USA programs from 16 cities, with 14 teams in the men’s competition and 6 teams in the women’s competition. The Twin Cities program from St. Paul-Minneapolis area, coached by former SSUSA player Hani Haybe, won both Cups continuing the trend from 2014 when Los Angeles won both the men’s and women’s titles.
The Street Soccer USA Corporate and Open Cups featured 32 and 24 teams respectively. The Corporate Cup was won by the Restore Hetch Hetchy Foundation who beat Rosekrans Architects in the finals.
The Open Cup was won by Lone Pine who defeated Brazilians of the Bay.
All registration fees and sponsor dollars from the Corporate and Open Cup support Street Soccer USA Bay Area programs for the 2015-16 year.
